Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest relations skills and a passion for providing exceptional service. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus, providing detailed information about menu items. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS or similar systems. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining proper sanitation standards. Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, adhering to culinary guidelines. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Utilize math skills for accurate billing and payment processing. Promote daily specials and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are key traits for success in this role.
