Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant food service team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your enthusiasm for food, beverage, and hospitality will help create memorable moments for our guests. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation as needed Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns swiftly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management Culinary experience or background in food preparation enhances service quality Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently Demonstrated ability in sales techniques such as upselling menu items to maximize revenue Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food industry roles such as bussing or serving is highly desirable Join us to be part of a dynamic team where your passion for hospitality makes every guest feel valued!
