Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a warm, welcoming attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable dining moments for our guests while ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a friendly demeanor and guide them to their tables Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Manage guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns swiftly Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery in a fast-paced environment Support food handling and sanitation practices to uphold health regulations and safety standards Assist with host/hostess duties during busy periods, including seating guests and managing reservations Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Strong knowledge of POS systems including Chowbus for order processing and reservations management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest concerns professionally Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and restaurant revenue Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation, food safety, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures Experience in serving alcohol responsibly within legal guidelines when applicable Strong communication skills with a team-oriented mindset for seamless collaboration in a dynamic environment Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences.
