This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a lively food industry environment while honing your customer service and food handling skills. Duties $2.13 an hour plus tips. No tip pooling. Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, providing a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring efficient transaction processing Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting in sanitation practices in line with health regulations Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu options to elevate the dining experience Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining environments or high-volume settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable enhances efficiency in order processing and sales transactions Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food safety standards is a strong advantage Experience in customer service roles that require active listening, problem-solving, and guest engagement is essential Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing are necessary Prior experience in bussing tables or supporting host/hostess duties is beneficial for team flexibility Join us if you're passionate about creating memorable dining experiences through exceptional service!
