Looking for a part time MAINLY foodrunner & at times busser. Duties Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to tables swiftly and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are maintained. Clear used dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables promptly to keep dining areas clean and organized. Assist servers by bussing tables, resetting them efficiently for new guests, and providing support during busy service periods. Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and ensuring restrooms are tidy. Support food handling procedures by adhering to food safety standards and proper sanitation practices. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to relay guest orders or special requests. Help with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including setting up stations or assisting in the kitchen during peak hours. Provide excellent guest services by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Familiarity with food handling safety protocols ensures a safe dining environment for all guests. Experience with serving or bussing in banquet or hotel settings is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across different hospitality contexts. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing and communication. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively with team members and providing exceptional guest experiences. Prior kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial for supporting food prep tasks and understanding food safety standards.
