Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Host/Server Assistant, where your energy and enthusiasm will create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. In this vibrant role, you will support the front-of-house operations by greeting guests, managing reservations, and assisting servers to ensure smooth service. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently Assist hosts and servers with taking reservations and managing waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Support servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately to tables Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables quickly for new guests Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring guest relations are positive Handle phone inquiries professionally, demonstrating proper phone etiquette and guest engagement Support the team during busy service times by coordinating guest flow and assisting with basic restaurant operations Qualifications Previous host/hostess or food service experience preferred; hospitality background is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Knowledge of guest services, serving techniques, and hospitality standards required Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior hotel or guest relations experience is beneficial but not mandatory This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
