As a vital link between the kitchen and guests, you will deliver exceptional dining experiences by providing friendly, efficient, and professional service. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a lively, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, culinary knowledge, and experience with various POS systems to streamline operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality talents while contributing to a memorable dining atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, including host/hostess duties when needed Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while managing open tabs via OpenTable or similar reservation systems Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Provide excellent guest relations by responding promptly to requests, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential for efficient order processing Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations Experience in serving or host/hostess roles with a focus on guest services and hospitality excellence Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organization skills Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs seamlessly Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering unforgettable dining experiences!
