Job Description

Bain BBQ is a traditional Texas-style BBQ restaurant known for our exceptional smoked meats and delicious sides. We offer a friendly, fast-paced environment for individuals who are passionate about BBQ, customer service, and teamwork.
Job Description:
We are looking for servers to join our dynamic team. This role involves serving our customers directly, which includes slicing meats, scooping sides, ringing up orders, and providing exceptional service. It's more counter service than actual serving, but you hand the customers their food.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Slicing and serving a variety of smoked meats according to customer preference. 2. Scooping and serving our homemade sides accurately. 3. Processing customer orders, handling cash and card transactions with accuracy. 4. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the counter and service area. 5. Restocking service areas and ensuring food is properly stored to maintain freshness. 6. Assisting with the preparation of carry-out orders and deliveries. 7. Providing excellent customer service by answering inquiries, handling complaints, and providing recommendations. 8. Following all food safety and sanitation procedures. 9. Occasional dishwashing required.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in a restaurant or food service setting preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. 2. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions. 3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. 4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. 6.
