Its music video nostalgia in the back ground paired with great friendly faces and original sushi recipes can not be shaken. We are looking for the best hospitality professionals to share our stage with! We are looking for Kitchen Members and/or Sushi Chefs to join our culinary team and prepare delicious plates for our guests. Sushi Chef responsibilities include handling a wide range of raw fish and other ingredients, managing food stock and working with an attention to detail to fulfill all orders within quality standards. You should be available to work during our opening hours. Ultimately, you will help us establish our reputation as one of the best sushi places in the area! Our kitchen team members are expected to learn the grill, fry, and dish areas as well as a high level "clean-as-you-go" mentality. Opening and closing procedures are also part of the position. Responsibilities Opening restaurant, including putting down chairs and setting tables Minimal opening/closing sidework and cleaning duties to keep the highest level of cleanliness for guests and team members Cleaning as you go, stocking, organizing, and communicating are a must Sense of urgency from the moment a guest arrives Prompt ringing of orders and immediate delivery of food as a team system to ensure hot food is served hot and cold food served cold Hospitality is our way of life in the front of house Skills Ability to work both fast and accurately Team spirit Availability to work during business hours, including weekends and evenings Flexibility to take on various shifts
