Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining the standards of our dining establishment. Servers can earn tips along with hourly wages. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS system. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and food safety practices. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper sanitation standards. Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their dining experience. Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy shifts. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems, particularly Toast POS is a plus. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food service. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
