Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times Clear tables promptly, bus tables, and assist with kitchen or bar support as needed Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine or beverage pairings to assist guests effectively Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction Support sanitation standards by adhering to cleanliness protocols in dining areas and service stations Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and reservations management Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and enhance their experience Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management Culinary or kitchen experience can be advantageous for understanding food preparation processes Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a lively atmosphere!
