Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring that all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation standards. Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, maintaining a focus on guest relations. Ensure tables are clean and properly set for new guests, demonstrating attention to detail in maintaining the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any issues that may arise during service. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal, utilizing basic math skills for transactions. Skills Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively and enhance guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques to ensure food safety standards are met. Excellent guest relations skills, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining high levels of professionalism. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Familiarity with kitchen operations and the ability to communicate effectively with culinary staff is preferred.
