Greet guests, explain ordering process, take order if neededCommunicate dietary restrictions and allergies clearly to the kitchenDeliver food and beverages in a timely, professional mannerUpsell appetizers, beverages, and desserts naturally and without pressureCheck back within 2 minutes of food delivery to ensure guest satisfactionPre-bus tables, refill drinks, and anticipate guest needs throughout the mealProcess payments accurately using the POSMaintain thorough knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and allergensSupport teammates during peak service periods
Runner:
Deliver food from the kitchen expo window to the correct table and seatConfirm table numbers before leaving the kitchen every timeAnnounce each dish clearly when placing it in front of a guestsCommunicate with kitchen staff about food readiness, timing, and any issuesAlert the server immediately if a dish looks incorrect, incomplete, or cold before deliveringAssist servers with pre-bussing, clearing plates, and resetting tablesRestock server stations with utensils, napkins, and supplies as neededCarry trays safely and use tray jacks for large orders
