Saturday and Sundays only 830AM - 2PM Overview Join our dynamic team as an Expo/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will help deliver an exceptional dining experience! In this vital role, you will act as the bridge between the kitchen and front-of-house, ensuring that all food reaches guests promptly, accurately, and with a smile. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, efficient, and guest-focused environment. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in food service, hospitality, and team collaboration while working in a fast-paced, energetic setting. Responsibilities Safely handle and transport food items from the kitchen to dining areas using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices Assist with food preparation and plating to ensure dishes are presented beautifully before serving Ensure all food handling complies with food safety standards and regulations Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders during busy service periods Assist with light kitchen duties or culinary tasks as needed, including basic cooking or food assembly Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including banquet or hotel settings Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and proper manual handling techniques Ability to lift heavy trays or boxes safely while maintaining good posture and technique Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests Experience in bussing, serving, or guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role Knowledge of food safety standards and culinary practices is highly desirable
