Days, Evenings, Weekends Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide/Server to join our assisted living community. In this role, you will support meal service operations and help create a positive dining experience for our residents. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors and takes pride in providing excellent customer service in a healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation, plating, and portioning according to dietary guidelines Serve meals and beverages to residents in a timely, respectful, and friendly manner Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals Follow all food safety and sanitation standards Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed Accommodate special dietary needs and preferences under supervision Interact with residents in a courteous and compassionate manner Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining kitchen organization Support the dietary team with other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous food service or healthcare experience a plus, but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Must be able to stand for long periods Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe) What We Offer Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Training and growth opportunities Supportive team environment The opportunity to make a meaningful impact in residents' lives About Us Buda Oaks Assisted Living is an award-winning community located in Hays County.
