Job Description
We want someone well spoken and highly conscientious who knows what it means to be a team player. We favor applicants who have prior knowledge in the position they are applying for and the products that we sell. We specialize in Sushi, Sake, and Japanese Whiskey.
Inexperience will not necessarily disqualify you as an applicant. What we seek are individuals who show up on time, dressed professionally, who take pride in what they do, come in with an open mind and the willingness to learn and adapt. We want individuals who can perform with grace under pressure and if you are looking for a challenge, you will find it here. Everything else is just knowledge that we, as a team, will gladly take the time to teach you.
This particular position requires that you are an excellent salesman who is active in their role in educating clients about the products we have to offer. We spend an inordinate amount of time training people because we want them to be experts in our products. This is done so that when a guest arrives at your table, they have every reason to trust you when you sell them on the Soto experience. This is very important because you will have the opportunity to cultivate your own clientele here.
The position lists that you will make an average of $20 to $40 an hour as a server here. You will have ample opportunity to make $50 and even $60 an hour here. Our veterans have done this consistently.
