Overview Join our dynamic team as a Waiter/Server and become the heart of an exceptional Tex-Mex experience! In this lively role, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes their orders, and ensures every visit is memorable. Whether you're serving in a fine dining setting or a bustling nightclub, your enthusiasm will drive the success of our restaurant and delight our patrons. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and relay orders efficiently to kitchen staff Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife settings Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus, along with culinary or kitchen experience for versatile roles Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order calculations TABC Certification Food Handler Card Must be at least 18 years old Benefits Tips are received on a daily basis additional to hourly wage.
