Responsibilities Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and organized dining area. Assist servers by delivering food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately. Support the kitchen team with basic food handling, preparation, and plating as needed. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including dining rooms, side stations, and storage spaces. Ensure guest needs are met by responding quickly to requests for water, utensils, or additional items. Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures during food delivery and clearing. Use POS systems such as Shift4 POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests. Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and basic food preparation techniques. Familiarity with POS systems like Shift4 POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency. Experience in bussing tables, food running, or banquet service is a plus. Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and positive attitude. Kitchen experience or culinary background can be beneficial for understanding food presentation and handling standards.
