Job Description
About us HeyDay Entertainment is a super fun family entertainment center that includes a sports bar, bowling, billiards, arcade, mini-golf, laser tag and full service menu. We've got something for everyone! Located in just off I-75 near Lake Texoma in Denison, many of our guests are looking for local fun which we aim to provide. From our local beers to our game-day watch parties, there's always something happening at HeyDay! Compensation $7.25/hour + tips
Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on food selections
- Operate cash register and handle customer payments
- Maintain cleanliness of service area and restock supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a server or in a similar role
- Knowledge of Steps of Service
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with customers
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and drink preparation
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills:
- Cash register operation
- Food service experience
- Banquet service knowledge
- Restaurant operations understanding
- Cash handling proficiency
- Food handling safety protocols knowledge
- Retail math skills for calculating bills and making change accurately

Duties:
```- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Process payments using cash register or POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area ```
Requirements:
