In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert cocktail knowledge, and a lively, welcoming attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable moments for our guests while ensuring smooth operations behind the bar and in the dining area. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food and beverage expertise in a dynamic environment that values hospitality, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression. Take accurate drink orders, recommend specialty cocktails, wines, or spirits, and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience. Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and safety standards. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, sales transactions, and billing with precision. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar areas, including food handling practices to meet food safety regulations. Assist with food service duties when needed, including bussing tables and supporting kitchen staff with basic food prep. Ensure guest relations are prioritized by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and fostering a lively atmosphere. Handle cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing sales transactions efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Follow all sanitation standards and food safety protocols to uphold health regulations in a fast-paced environment. Support team members with general restaurant duties such as host/hostess responsibilities or food running when required. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Demonstrated cocktail experience with knowledge of spirits, wine, and beverage presentation techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales management. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of the food industry standards related to serving alcohol responsibly and maintaining guest safety. Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is advantageous; culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial for supporting team needs.
