Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards, Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques like specials. Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed to maintain food safety standards. Clear tables efficiently by bussing and assisting with cleanup to keep the dining area tidy and inviting. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address guest inquiries or special requests with professionalism. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred, but not necessary. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering. Strong customer service skills with an ability to connect positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and upselling opportunities. Experience in serving, host/hostess duties, or food industry roles that involve guest relations and food preparation is a plus.
