Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service within our establishment. You will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring all orders are correct. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with their selections. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices during food preparation and service. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, aiming for high levels of guest satisfaction. Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Requirements Previous experience in a server or customer service role is preferred but not required. Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; certification may be required based on local regulations. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers or POS systems is advantageous. Ability to work in a nightclub or similar environment, adapting to varying noise levels and busy settings. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.
