The Cocktail Waitress position at Marriott El Paso involves providing excellent service to guests in a bar setting. The role focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service and knowledge of the menu.

Responsibilities:

Set up bar (fill up ice bins, set up liquor bottles, bar garnishes, bar glassware, flatware). Restock beer bottles. Restock Bar mixers. Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables. Serve food and beverages to guests, making recommendations of our food items and wine selection. Share your menu knowledge with guests with questions and special requests. Record transactions in the MICROS system correctly and timely. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverage. Clean tables, complete closing duties, and re-stock tableware and other supplies. Sweep/mop. Clean tables as needed. Clean the bar counter/sanitize the bar area on a daily basis. Polish glassware. fold napkins. Ensure food condiments in the kitchen are being set up.

Cocktail Waitress Requirements:

Experience may be preferred, especially if serving beverages in a fine dining establishment. Ability to walk, stand, and carry heavy trays. A friendly, attentive attitude. Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and food.
