Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using Toast POS system, ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the meal Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff Clear tables efficiently, bussing and resetting for incoming guests while maintaining a clean dining environment Experience Proven experience in fine dining restaurants or upscale food service environments Strong knowledge of wine/cocktails is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours while maintaining attention to detail Background in food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Previous host/hostess or serving experience in a restaurant setting preferred Familiarity with culinary terminology and food industry standards enhances guest interactions Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier hospitality in a lively setting!
