Job Overview Sushi-Tiki in Fredericksburg, Texas is hiring! We are seeking friendly and professional Servers to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in fine dining restaurant environments. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining or casual setting. Prior experience with fine dining, POS systems and food industry standards is highly valued. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences through attentive service and knowledgeable recommendations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and wine/ beverage pairings to assist guests effectively Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Requirements Previous experience in bartending, food service or restaurant roles; fine dining experience a must. Familiarity with POS systems such as Square and Toast Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset committed to hospitality excellence Join our team to deliver outstanding service in a vibrant setting where guest satisfaction is our top priority.
