Server/Cashier

Overview Texas Pit Stop BBQ is looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Server/Cashier to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying busy, and creating a welcoming experience for guests. As one of the first points of contact for customers, you will help provide excellent customer service while assisting with front-counter operations, taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean dining area. Responsibilities Greet guests with a positive and welcoming attitude Take food and beverage orders accurately Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash/card transactions Answer phones and manage to-go orders, including phone orders and third-party delivery app orders Provide menu information and make recommendations when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked front-of-house area Deliver food to tables and ensure guest satisfaction Assist team members during busy periods Help maintain a friendly and efficient work environment Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Basic math and cash-handling skills Ability to stand for extended periods Previous restaurant or cashier experience preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Requirements Texas Food Handler Certificate required Weekend and evening availability preferred Pay Start @ 9.00 per hour plus tips.
