In this vital role, you will serve as the bridge between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring food is delivered promptly and tables are maintained impeccably. Duties Efficiently deliver prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables with speed and professionalism. Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space. Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional support during busy service times. Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to food safety standards and proper sanitation practices. Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing dishes. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing assistance. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely service and address guest needs promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus. Experience with bussing, serving, or banquet service enhances your candidacy. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays or supplies, and work efficiently during high-volume hours. Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for guest service is essential!
