Responsibilities Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist with seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems Take accurate breakfast orders, recommend menu items, and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Manage POS transactions using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with sanitation guidelines Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout the breakfast service Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or hospitality settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently Familiarity with food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling and order processing Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential Experience in serving or host/hostess roles within restaurants or nightclubs is preferred Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication transforms breakfast into an extraordinary experience.
