Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Present menus, answer questions about dishes, and recommend specials or wine pairings to enhance guest satisfaction Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest preferences are met Manage table settings, clear dishes, and assist with bussing to maintain a clean dining environment Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties using POS systems like OpenTable Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and reservations management Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred but not required; a positive attitude is essential Basic math skills for cash handling and bill calculations Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to develop your serving skills, and ready to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a lively setting!
