Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Waitstaff/Hostess, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you'll be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help maintain a smooth flow of service, foster guest satisfaction, and uphold our high standards of food safety and guest relations. Whether greeting guests at the door or serving delicious meals, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional hospitality that keeps guests coming back. Duties Warmly greet guests upon arrival, manage reservations, and seat guests efficiently to optimize flow and minimize wait times Provide attentive and friendly service throughout their dining experience, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing guest inquiries Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle payments promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety standards Assist with coordinating table assignments during busy hours to ensure smooth operations Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to relay guest requests or special accommodations Uphold excellent phone etiquette when managing reservations or answering guest inquiries over the phone Foster positive guest relations by providing personalized service, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Support team members with organizational tasks such as setting up dining areas or restocking supplies as needed Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant operations Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow effectively Experience in serving or guest relations roles is advantageous but not required Demonstrated hospitality mindset with a passion for creating positive guest experiences Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
