Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Manage cash handling, process sales transactions accurately, and handle credit card payments with precision. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, cocktail options, and menu items to elevate the dining experience. Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations. Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS Demonstrated ability in upselling beverages like spirits and wines, along with excellent customer service skills. Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations required for safe service. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transaction processing; attention to detail is essential.
