Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant food service team. As a Server, you will be the friendly face that enhances our guests' dining experience through exceptional customer service, efficient food and beverage delivery, and a positive attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our guests while ensuring smooth restaurant operations. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure seamless service. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing. Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy. Previous experience with serving, bussing tables, host/hostess duties, or food preparation is highly desirable. Knowledge of culinary terminology and kitchen operations is a plus. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as required by restaurant hours.
