Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards. Duties Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the TOAST System Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials, to assist guests in their selections. Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Process payments accurately, handling cash transactions with attention to detail. Skills Proven experience in the food service industry, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate order taking and cash handling. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is advantageous for understanding menu items better. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining individual accountability. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
