The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere. Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurants is preferred. Duties Provide outstanding service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Utilize Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable systems for order entry and management. Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation practices throughout the dining area. Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures. Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is required; fine dining experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with culinary practices, food handling, and safety regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Experience as a host/host or in guest services is advantageous. Knowledge of sanitation standards and kitchen operations is beneficial.
