Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Server and become the heart of an exceptional dining experience! Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service. Present menus confidently, highlighting specials and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring all details are correct for timely food preparation. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, processing payments, and providing correct change with basic math skills. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables promptly, resetting tables efficiently, and ensuring the dining area remains inviting at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or nightclub setting. Uphold excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and providing personalized service that exceeds expectations. Assist with food handling and sanitation procedures to meet health regulations and uphold our commitment to safety. Support host/hostess duties when needed by managing reservations through OpenTable or similar systems. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife venues such as nightclubs. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS, and cashiering procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently using sales techniques that enhance guest satisfaction. Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards. Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience with reservation management tools like OpenTable is advantageous. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes. Strong communication skills paired with a friendly demeanor that fosters guest loyalty.
