Duties:

• Greet and seat customers in a friendly and timely manner
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a prompt and professional manner
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Process payments and provide accurate change
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
• Assist with setting up and breaking down tables for service
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server or in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus
• Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts, taxes, and tips
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong hospitality skills to provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers and customers
• Knowledge of brewing techniques for recommending beer or coffee pairings (if applicable)
• Experience in catering or banquet service is a plus Please note that this position requires standing for long periods of time, lifting trays or plates weighing up to 25 pounds, and working in a fast-paced environment.
