Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, utilizing tools like OpenTable or similar reservation systems. Present menus confidently, highlight specials, and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures. Check in with guests regularly to ensure their needs are met, providing excellent customer service and fostering positive guest relations. Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes, resetting tables quickly for new guests, and assisting with general restaurant cleanliness. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately through cashiering processes, including processing payments and giving correct change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub or fine dining setting. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest questions confidently. Support team members during busy hours by assisting with food prep or host/hostess duties when needed. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife venues. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest concerns professionally. Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining quality service. Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation enhances your ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is essential. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and transaction processing. Experience working in a nightclub or high-energy hospitality environment is a plus. Strong guest relations skills combined with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
