Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring prompt delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and adhering to food industry regulations Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed, demonstrating culinary knowledge and teamwork Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability Requirements Previous restaurant or food service experience, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for seamless order processing Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or food preparation is highly desirable Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order calculations Excellent communication skills to engage with guests and team members confidently Come and join a wonderful team of a close knit family restaurant as we are embarking on a new chapter of Hayashi and be apart of a local business here in town today! we cant wait to see you!
