Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items and specials. Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are accommodated. Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and food safety protocols. Upsell menu items and suggest wine pairings or specialty drinks to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Manage table settings, clear dishes promptly, and assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness throughout service. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems including cash handling and credit card processing. Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure timely delivery of orders during banquets or special events. Maintain knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures at all times. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations. Support event setup and breakdown for banquets or private functions while adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines. Experience Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations required for safe service delivery. Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts using excellent organizational skills. Experience working in a nightclub or event setting can be beneficial for dynamic environments requiring adaptability.
