As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and well taken care of. Your ability to upsell menu items and provide excellent customer service will contribute to the overall success of our establishment. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the OpenTable system. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, including helping to sanitize kitchen areas. Process payments accurately using the cash register. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables and clearing dishes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Skills Strong knowledge of food service practices, including sanitation standards. Experience with culinary techniques is a plus. Proficiency in using restaurant management software such as OpenTable. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Basic cash handling skills for processing payments accurately. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and enhancing guest experiences. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
