Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant food and beverage team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a welcoming attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable dining moments, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering guest satisfaction. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through suggestive selling techniques. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and providing personalized service to ensure satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and reservations management. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that creates welcoming atmospheres for guests. Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during high-volume shifts. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities.
