Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring a positive first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen. Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and drinks with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Manage guest needs throughout their dining experience by checking in regularly, handling requests promptly, and resolving any issues with a positive attitude. Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, and assisting with sanitation protocols. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and perform basic math for billing purposes while maintaining excellent guest relations. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous; experience with OpenTable for reservations is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence. Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles that showcase your ability to engage with guests professionally. Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks; previous experience with food industry operations is beneficial.
