Waiter Location:
Dallas, TX Reports to: Floor supervisor / Team Leader Job Purpose To ensure guests have an excellent dining experience by providing attentive, friendly, and professional service. The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, delivering food & beverages, assisting with guest requests, and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the dining area. Key Duties & Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and escort them to tables. Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions about ingredients, food allergies, etc. Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to kitchen/bar staff, using POS or order tickets. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and courteous manner. Check with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction; address any issues promptly. Clear tables and reset them correctly (linens, silverware, glasses). Process payments (cash, card, etc.) and issue receipts. Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming dining area (e.g. wipe tables, refill condiments, remove debris). Collaborate with other restaurant staff (kitchen, bar, bussers) to ensure smooth service. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Skills & Attributes Strong customer service orientation; friendly, polite, and attentive. Good communication skills; able to explain menu and effectively take orders. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork:
able to coordinate with other staff to ensure smooth operations. Attention to detail (presentation, correct order delivery, cleanliness). Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic math skills for handling payments, splitting bills, etc. Qualifications Previous experience as a waiter/waitress preferred Mediterranean cuisine is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent (if applicable). Knowledge of food & beverage service best practices is a plus. Any required certifications (e.g., food safety) depending on local regulations. Fixable working hours and the ability to work in Weekend, Holidays .
Etc Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour
