In this lively role, you'll handle both front-of-house responsibilities—taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction—and cashier duties, managing transactions accurately and efficiently. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Manage cashiering responsibilities including cash handling, processing payments, and giving correct change Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while ensuring guest satisfaction Maintain a clean, organized work area by bussing tables, resetting stations, and adhering to sanitation standards Assist with food preparation, food safety protocols, and basic food handling as needed in the kitchen or bar area Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest bookings efficiently for fine dining or nightclub settings Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming environment Support team members with food service operations during busy hours to ensure smooth service flow Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclubs is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transactions Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts Experience with food preparation, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or serving in a hospitality setting is advantageous Comfortable working in fast-paced environments that require multitasking and adaptability Basic knowledge of the food industry including menu items, upselling techniques, and guest relations Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences!
