Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food, beverages, and cocktails efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty cocktails to increase sales and guest satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, process sales transactions, and manage cash handling responsibilities Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly during busy periods, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming environment Experience Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food industry standards enhances your ability to upsell effectively Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that creates lasting guest impressions Experience with food safety regulations and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in delivering exceptional service that delights every guest!
