The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing outstanding service in a fine dining or casual restaurant setting, ensuring guest satisfaction from order to completion. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cash handling procedures Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained throughout service Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on menu offerings and guest preferences Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and positive relations Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations gracefully Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed Previous experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles, or food industry positions is advantageous Join our team to provide memorable dining experiences through exceptional service and hospitality.
