Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage reservations using OpenTable or similar booking systems to optimize seating flow Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction from the moment they arrive Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness for new guests Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and perform basic math for bills and tips Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously Support kitchen staff with basic food handling or food preparation tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment Experience Previous experience as a server or host/hostess in a restaurant setting preferred, especially within fine dining or nightlife environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill calculations Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth service flow Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to develop your skills in a lively environment, and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
