Job Description
Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest experiences through excellent customer service, food knowledge, and efficient service delivery. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment that values hospitality, teamwork, and culinary excellence. Prior experience in finer dining, restaurant operations, or hospitality is preferred. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Handle cash and process payments accurately using POS systems Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and serving Assist with bussing tables, resetting tables, and maintaining a clean dining environment Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including wine pairings or specials Engage with guests to foster guest relations and ensure a positive dining experience Experience Previous experience in food service and finer dining restaurant environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS Experience in fine dining settings or the food industry is a plus Skills in upselling, sales techniques, and guest relations are advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cashiering and cash handling is essential Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Work hours Tuesdays through Saturdays 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm This position offers an engaging work environment where excellent customer service skills are valued.
