JOB SUMMARY
The Part‑Time Cocktail Server is responsible for delivering courteous, efficient, and professional beverage service to guests in accordance with Hilton brand standards. This role supports the Food & Beverage department by ensuring a high‑quality guest experience while adhering to all safety, compliance, and operational procedures .
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week. Provide prompt, friendly service; present menus; offer recommendations; maintain Hilton service standards. Accurately take and enter orders into the POS system; ensure timely delivery of beverages and food items. Serve cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty beverages following established recipes and presentation guidelines. Verify guest identification; follow state/local alcohol laws and Hilton safety and sanitation policies. Process payments accurately; maintain cash control; reconcile transactions at shift end. Keep service stations, tables, and assigned areas clean and organized. Maintain knowledge of beverage offerings, specials, and promotions. Work with bartenders, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations. Address guest concerns professional and escalate when necessary. Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge of all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests. Hold a current Food Handler Card or in the process of being certified Hold a valid TABC license Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette. Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware. Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquiries from customers and communicate simple instructions. Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products and processes within the hotel. Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items. Ability to operate beverage equipment, e.g., coffee maker.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift. Lifting Fifty (30) pounds maximum. Constant standing & walking required. Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling. Fast‑paced hotel bar, lounge, pool, or restaurant setting Frequent guest interaction Part‑time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Hours may vary based on business levels and departmental needs Benefits 401(k)
