Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic, attentive, and team-oriented Server to join our dynamic food service team. As a vital part of our hospitality environment, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences through friendly, efficient, and professional service. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining space. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hospitality, value teamwork, and want to grow within the restaurant industry. All positions are paid, including internships, with strong opportunities for advancement. Servers use Toast POS software and typically earn $21-$30/hour with tips. Our business experiences a mix of slower weekdays and busy weekends. Team members should be comfortable staying productive during downtime by assisting with cleaning, stocking, side work, and preparing the restaurant for peak service periods. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service Take accurate orders using Toast POS or similar systems Upsell menu items, beverages, desserts, and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while following food safety standards Handle cash and payments accurately Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant Complete side work, stocking, cleaning, and organizational duties during slower periods Support team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations Address guest questions, concerns, and requests professionally and courteously Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling regulations Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned Work Environment & Schedule Weekday shifts may be slower paced and include additional cleaning, stocking, and organizational responsibilities Weekend shifts are typically fast-paced and require the ability to work efficiently under pressure Availability on weekends, holidays, and special events is strongly preferred Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds Skills & Qualifications Previous serving, hosting, food service, or hospitality experience preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems is a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy service periods Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Basic math skills for order accuracy and payment processing Positive attitude, reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required Why Join Us?
